Location: From Evansville, take SR 62 west to CR 500E, then south about 3 miles.
Description: Not Visited. One of at least 4 Cypress swamp remnants that are pretty unique in a northern state like Indiana. According to the Nature Conservancy, this is one of the most easily viewed.
Nearby Points of Interest: Twin Swamps, Section 6 Flatwoods, Gray Estate Cypress Slough; also Harmonie State Park and the town on New Harmony. In Evansville, check out the Angel Mounds State Historic Site.
Cautions: Very wet. Visit when water is high and bring a canoe. Avoid during mosquito season.
