Location: From Rome City on SR 9 (north of US 6) 3 miles west on Front Street (CR 1000N). Rome City is NW of Fort Wayne, SE of Elkhart.

Description: Not Visited. More marsh along the Elkhart River. Species include the infamous Massasauga rattlesnake, which is responsible for an average of zero deaths per century.

Nearby Points of Interest: Chain o'Lakes State Park, Mallard Roost, Tri-County F&W

Cautions: Don't step on the rattlesnake; it's rare and protected.
