Location: From I-94, take the SR 49 exit south less than a mile to Indian Boundary Road (CR 1275N). Turn east and go to Graham Road, about 1.2 miles; follow Graham Road to the end and you are at the Preserve.
Description: Not Visited. Genuine swamp. Along the Banks of the Little Calumet River, and part of the original channel. Wetland plants and wildlife. I like swamps myself; they're a good reminder that nature left to itself makes a garden out of any environment.
Nearby Points of Interest: Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Indiana Dunes State Park; Deep River Nature Preserve.
Cautions: You should listen to your mother--wear your boots when playing in the mud.
