Location: From I-64, take SR 135 south 2.8 miles; the drive to Hayswood County Park will be on your left; the preserve is an addition to this park.
Description: Not Visited. 116 acres in this preserve added to the 150 in the county park, which is also managed as a nature preserve, give some room to roam. Indian Creek Woods is on a bluff over Indian Creek; the area also features the knob formations which are common in southern Indiana, including the 360 foot Pilot Knob (in Hayswood County Park). The preserve also has the black-stemmed spleenwort, "one of the rarest plants in Indiana". That should get you out here.
Nearby Points of Interest: Wyandotte Caves, Harrison-Crawford State Forest, Falls of the Ohio State Park. Nearby Corydon was Indiana's first capital city.
Cautions: Snakes is all I can think of, and I don't think they're common.
