Location: Take US 33 northwest from Fort Wayne through the town of Churubusco and past it another few miles to the Noble-Whitley County Line Road. Turn left and follow this for four miles. The first driveway on the left past the junction with SR 9 leads to the parking lot for the preserve; follow the trail from the parking lot into the preserve.
Description: Not Visited. 146 acres supporting a variety of habitats; a bluff overlooking the lakeshore, ravines, marsh, beach and forest. There's a two acre island in the lake, but since boats can't be launched.....oh, well. The lake is 105 feet deep and supposed to be very clean. Two trails have been developed.
Nearby Points of Interest: Chain o' Lakes State Park.
Cautions: 105 feet is pretty deep. I don't suppose swimming is allowed anyway.
