Location: From the I-64 exit for US 41, go south to Evansville and the Lloyd Expressway; go east (left) on the Expressway to Boeke Road and head back north. The address is 551 N. Boeke Road and the entrance is just past Roberts Stadium.

Description: The preserve is almost 200 acres, most of it old-growth forest. It is one of the largest old-growth forests in a city over 100,000 people. It is listed as a virgin bottomland hardwood forest unusual for it's sweet gum/tulip tree domination.  It's a nice place to visit for lunch. This is a designated National Natural Landmark. Nearby Points of Interest: Angel Mounds Historic Site, a reconstruction of a Mississippian Native American Settlement; south of SR 66 on US 41 to Riverside Dr., southeast three blocks to Pollack Drive then east on Pollack about 4.5 miles.
