Location: Just east of Kendallville on US 6, turn north onto Allen Chapel Road (1000E). After you cross Kammerer Road (700N) look for the ACRES preserve parking on your left.
Description: 25 acres. Preserves a kettle lake, one of the small lakes created when a chunk of ice left over from the glaciers got partway buried in the ground and melted. Some large trees; named after the wife of Potawatomi Chief Pokagon.
