Bluffs of Beaver Bend

Location:   From US 50 in Shoals, take Water Street (also CR 63) south to the first right, Spout Springs Road; take this a bit more than a tenth of a mile to the preserve parking lot on the left side of the road.

Description: 748 acres, no trail. Sandstone bluffs over the White River; the White River provided some great mussel beds here for the native americans, and there are some midden remains to be found here. A lot of ferns along the cliff, including the infamous walking fern. The cliffs offer some great color.
