Basket Buddies |
Basket Buddies is a group of basketmakers who meet monthly (on the first Tuesday of the month) at the Tippecanoe Arts Federation building to weave baskets. The guild started in 2005 and has about a dozen members. New members are welcome. We ask that members have some experience in basket weaving (able to follow a pattern without direction). Visitors may attend one monthly meeting at no cost, and can join the group by paying dues (currently $12 a year). Our focus is to learn from each other by sharing knowledge and to promote the art of basketmaking throughout the community. |
