Are you interested in serving as a Region 4 Grant Review Panelist this Spring? We’re looking for citizens from throughout the 14 counties of Region 4 who have an interest in/knowledge of the arts, some knowledge of nonprofit, public and/or private sector business management.

Grant Review Panelist Job Description
General Duties
Volunteer grant review panelists review applications for funding submitted by nonprofit, community-based arts and non-arts organizations. Panelists evaluate each proposal based on project quality, community impact, and project management.
Term of Service
Each panel member will be appointed annually for a one-year term and will be eligible for re-appointment.
Panelist Training
Training sessions will be held at TAF on the following dates:
Wednesday, April 9, 6 pm – 8 pm
Thursday April 10th, 10 am to Noon
Public Panel Review Sessions
Thursday, May 15th 9 am - 11 am & 1 pm - 3 pm
Friday, May 16th, 9 am - 11 am
All panel review sessions are open to the public and are recorded. Grant applicants are invited to attend panel sessions and will be given up to two minutes to address the panel after their application is reviewed.
Conflict of Interest
Panelists are required to identify applications that may pose a conflict of interest. Panelists are excused from the panel meeting during the discussion and rating of the particular application(s) with which a Conflict of Interest exists.
