Anita R. Zook, 30, of Galveston, formerly of Monticello died Tuesday, November 23, 2004, as the result of an auto accident on Davis Road south of Galveston.
She was born at Monticello on October 17, 1974, to Richard D. and Phyllis A. (Randolph) Johns. Both survive. She had a special companion Rodney Varnell of Galveston. He survives
She had attended Pioneer High School in Royal Center.
She had also completed training to become a CPR instructor and was taking classes to become an EMT.
She was employed with Menards in Kokomo. She enjoyed gardening and reading to her son's class at Galveston Elementary School. She enjoyed exercise and working out.
Other survivors include daughter, Gracie Zook of Galveston; son Nathan Zook of Galveston; sister, Jill (Tim) Merritt of Peru; grandparents, Lillian Johns of Idaville and C.J. and Jeanette Randolph of Brookston; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Saturday at the Murray-Weaver Funeral Home in Galveston, with Rev. John Hrynk officiating.
Burial was in Galveston Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to a trust fund set up for her children.
