She was born at Logansport on February 5, 1912, to Charles W. and Frances Diamond Forqueran. She married Harry Ziemer at Reynolds in 1930. He died February 25, 1985.
She was a practical nurse and homemaker. She had worked at Knights of Pythias Home and Indiana Veterans Home, both of Lafayette for several years.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds, where she taught Sunday school for several years.
She was a member of the Logansport Mental Health Volunteer Association and the Town and County Home Economics Club, Monon.
She did a lot of volunteer work with her piano playing.
Survivors include sons, Arthur Ziemer of Chesterton and Raymond (Shirley) Ziemer of Monticello; daughters, Morna (Delos) Pass of Monon and Jean (Wayne) Wienke of Lafayette; step son, Lyle (Martha) Ziemer of Royal Center; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
A daughter is deceased.
Funeral services were at the St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds on Saturday with Pastor Ed Morrow officiating. Kellogg Funeral Home was m charge of the service.
Burial was in St. James Lutheran Cemetery, Reynolds.
