Sallie L. Zarse, 54, of Reynolds, died Wednesday, November 7, 2110 [sic] at St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center in Lafayette.

She was born on December 17, 1946, in Lafayette to David E. and Annie L. Sills Wiley. She married Carl A. "Doc" Zarse on July 18, 1965, in Reynolds. He survives.

She lived in Reynolds all of her life.

She was a graduate of the class of 1964, the first graduating class from North White High School.

She worked as a teller for the Bank of Reynolds, Chalmers Branch as well as at the Bank of Reynolds and La6yette Bank and Trust in Reynolds for over 20 years.

She was the Reynolds Town Clerk from 1996 - 2000.

She organized the Town of Reynolds Halloween Party for 11 years.

She attended St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds, where she taught Sunday school.

She was a member of the former Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Wolcott.

Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Carla K. (Jay) Sims of Kokomo; a son, David A. Zarse of Reynolds, sisters Marilyn (Mark) Young of Wolcott and Kathy (Stan) Holderly of Chalmers; a brother Jerry E. Wiley of Monon; and two granddaughters.

Funeral Services were Sunday at St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery, Reynolds. Voorhis Draper Funeral Home was in charge of the service.
