Georgia "Tootie" Young, 80, of Monon died Sunday, November 26, 2000 at Twin Lakes Village, Monticello.
She was born on December 21, 1919, in Francesville, the daughter of Frank and Maggie Maxwell Stiller.
She married Jeff Young on June 25, 1938, in Francesville. He survives.
She was a lifetime resident of the community.
She was a cook at South Side Restaurant in Monon for 40 years and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Sandy Jones and Susan Mullins, both of Monon; a son Barry (Bev) Young of Monon; two brothers Mike Stiller and Jay Stiller, both of Monon; a sister Clara Madaus of Medaryville; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A son, three brothers and three sisters are deceased.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday) at Kellogg Funeral Home, Monon with the Rev. James Copeland officiating.
Burial will be at Monon Cemetery.
