Cordellia A. Young

Cordellia A. Young, 73, of Monon died Friday, March 4, 2005, at White County Memoria1 Hospital. She had been ill four months.

She was born on September 12, 1931 at Monon to Henry "Dutch" Slyvester [sic] and Nancy Arlean Miller Hahn Minniear. She married Norman E. "Tobe" Young on July 25, 1951 at Monon. He died January 25, 2005.

She was a 1951 graduate of Monon High School.

She was a homemaker.

She was employed as a waitress at South Side Restaurant in Monon for 10 years and at Monon Family Restaurant for five years.

She had lived in Monon since 1985, moving here from Lafayette.

She was a member of the Monon First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her mother, Nancy Arlean Miller Hahn Minniear; sons Roger Young of Monon, Rick (Anita) Young of Lafayette, Dennis (Julie) Young of Fayetteville, Georgia and Scott (Stacey) Young of Monon; sister Charlotte (Bill) Morris of Monon; brothers Joe (Dori) Hahn of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Stanley (Donna) Hahn of Monon; grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Young, Chris (Rebecca) Young, Brosy Reynolds, Amy (Eric] Baker and Melinda, Blaine, Drew, Aarika, Hillary, Brandon, Kelly and Brett Young and four great-grandchildren.

A brother is deceased.

Funeral Services were Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home with Rev. Don Newman officiating.

Burial was at Bedford Cemetery.
