Vera Grace Wilson, 91, of Monon died Monday, January 27, 2003 in Rensselaer Care Center.

She was born March 16, 1911, in Monon, the daughter of James G. and Eva (Williams) Spencer. She married James A. Wilson on June 22, 1936 in Monticello. He died December 16, 1967.

A homemaker, she had worked at Querry Pharmacy, Kraft Dress Shop and Annis Foodliner all in Monon.

She graduated from Monon High School.

She was a lifelong resident of Monon, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Monon.

Surviving are two daughters, Marsha (Peter) Ward of Martinsville, and Bobbie (Butch) Jeffries of Wheatfield and one sister, Opal Shull of Kewanna. She had four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Four brothers and five sisters preceded her in death

Visitation will be at the Kellogg Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday.

Funeral Services will be at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday with Rev. Steve Birch officiating. Burial will be in Dobbins Cemetery, Wolcott.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Monon.
