Pearl Grandstaff Wilson

Pearl B. Grandstaff Wilson, 84, Lafayette, died Sunday, July 13, at 9:25 a.m. in Heritage Healthcare Center, West Lafayette. She had been a resident at the center since March.

She was born July 28, 1912, to Clyde and Dora Baker Grandstaff, in Lafayette. She was married Oct. 20, 1934, to Roy Lee Wilson in Battle Ground and he died Feb. 23, 1968.

She graduated from Brookston High School in 1930 and had lived in Lafayette since 1983, moving from Brookston.

She worked at S.S. Kresge for 12 years and Brookston IGA for 12 years.

She was a member of the Community Reformed Church of Lafayette, where she was a former choir member. She was a former member and secretary of Prairieland Housing in Brookston.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs Robert (Sylvia) Patterson and Janey Wilson, both of Lafayette.

Three sisters are deceased.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Community Reformed Church, Lafayette, with Pastor Lyle Zumdahl officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, 5-9 p.m. at Hartzler Funearl Home, Brookston.

Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.

Memorials may be given to Community Reformed ETC Fund, the Wabash Center Children's Clinic or St. Elizabeth Dialysis Center.
