Louise L. Williams, 91, of Chalmers died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 in Heritage Healthcare Center, West Lafayette.

She was born September 9, 1913 in Salem, IN to Charles and Dessie (Myers) Shireley.

Her marriage was to Ralph M. Williams, Sr. on May 17, 1930 in Kentland, IN. He died January 14, l960.

She worked as a cook at Alpha Kappa Fraternity at Purdue and also at Turtle Creek Nursing Home in Lafayette.

Surviving are three sons, Ralph Williams of Raleigh, N.C., Dean Williams of Covington and Bob Williams of Battle Ground; one sister, Evelyn Burkle of Otterbein; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Lynn "Pork" Williams, a brother, Fred Shireley and a sister Gladys Light.

Funeral Services were Saturday, April 23, 2005 at Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston with burial in Battle Ground Cemetery.
