Kenneth D. Williams

          Kenneth D. "Kenny" Williams, 69, 117 Holden Drive, Brookston died Monday, May 14, in Home Hospital, Lafayette.  He had been in failing health, five years.

          He was born Sept. 19, 1920, to Thomas and Olive Richardson Williams, in Benton County.  He was married to Joyce Thornberry Gosnell, who survives.

          He was an Army veteran of World War II.  He retired in 1985, as co-owner of Halstead Implement, where he was employed for 38 years.

          He was a member of the Brookston Federated Church and Brookston American Legion Post.

          Surviving with his wife are three sons, Walter, stationed at Oscoda Air Force Base, Michigan, Greg, Fort Worth, Texas and Tommy, Winston-Salem, N.C.; one daughter, Vicki, Winston-Salem, N.C.; one stepdaughter, Cindy Gosnell, West Lafayette; and three grandchildren. One brother and one sister are deceased.
          The funeral was 11a.m. today, at Hartzler Funeral Home in Brookston, the Rev Ralph Smith officiated.
          Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Brookston.
