Robert R. Wiley, 67, of Monon, died Sunday, December 18, 2004 at White County Memorial Hospital. He had been ill for three days.

He was born July 22, 1937, in Pulaski County, the son of Russell and Mamie L. Sills Wiley.

A 1955 graduate of Monon High School, he worked at Harrison Steel in Attica for 20 years and at HPA in Monon for five years. He served in the Army National Guard as a sergeant for six years.

He was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Brian (Tina) R. Wiley of Knoxville, TN; two daughters, Barbara (Larry) Bickett of Battleground [sic] and Tamara (Glenn Jr.) Newbold of Monon, two brothers, Dick (Ginny) Wiley and Dwayne Wiley both of Monon; a former wife, Sandra Cochran Wiley Blount of Monon; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild

A brother, Tom Wiley preceded him in death.

Funeral services are at 1:00 p.m. today at the Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with Pastor Mathew Pickut officiating. Full military rites will be conducted at Chapel Cemetery.
