W. Wiley, 84 of Monticello died Monday, January 3, 2000, in White
County Memorial Hospital.
She had lived most of her life in White County.
She was born January 20, 1915 in White County, the daughter of Carl A. & Dora Godenrath Dahlenburg.
Her marriage was to Walter Wiley on May 19, 1934 in Monticello and he survives.
A housewife, she enjoyed playing cards. She was a member of the Monon Town & Country Home Ec Club, Eagles Auxiliary, Monticello Senior Citizens and a former member of Rebekah Lodge and Royal Neighbors.
Surviving besides her husband are four sons: Arthur W. Wiley of Grayling, MI, Larry D. (Virginia) , Wolcott, IN, Dennis L. (Janet) Wiley, Birmingham, AL, Donald W. (Jan) and Darrel A. (Kim) Wiley of Monticello.
Three brothers, Carl Dahlenburg, Reynolds, George Wiley, Monticello, Robert Dahlenburg, Monon and two sisters, Elizabeth Logan, Lafayette and Mary Hammel of Fairfield, OH.
She had 16 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home in Monticello at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 6, with Rev. Jeff Messer officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Riverview IOOF Cemetery.
