Ray Wiese, 67, Reynolds, died unexpectedly Sunday, at 1:10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Hospital emergency room, Lafayette.
He was born Jan. 24, 1922, to Robert and Vallie Spear Wiese, in White County. He was married Dec. 26, 1958, to Jan Johnson in Burnettsville. She survives.
He retired from the White County Machine Shop in 1972, after working there for 30 years. He owned and operated Wiese Trailer Court and Sales, in Reynolds, since 1960.
He had lived in the Reynolds area all of his life and was a 1939 graduate of Chalmers High School.
Besides his wife, survivors are two sons, Jerry D., Delphi and Dale A., Reynolds; two daughters, Sandra S. Johns, Monticello and Nancy L. Allman, Terre Haute; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, Lee, Logansport; a sister, Zelda Matthew, Rensselaer.
Funeral was conducted Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, with the Rev James Yater officiating.
Burial was in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Rensselaer.
