Infant Kelsey Erin Whitener, Chalmers, died Thursday, Feb. 2, at 1:30 am. in Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born in Lafayette, Jan. 25. She had been a patient at the hospital since Jan. 26.

Survivors include her mother, Ann Whitener, her father, Tony Bennett, her maternal grandparents Jerry and Pam  Whitener, all of Chalmers, and her paternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Mike Hirt, Reynolds.

Graveside rites were Saturday at Brookston IOOF Cemetery, with the Rev Don Robinson officiating.

Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, was in charge of the service.
