Thomas 0. Wheeldon

Thomas 0. Wheeldon, 60, Rennselaer, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, in Home Hospital, Lafayette.

He was born Nov. 4, 1938, in White County, and was a long time resident of Jasper County and attended Rensselaer Schools.

He was married Nov. 5, 1960, to Marie Powell in Rennselaer and she survives.

Mr. Wheeldon had worked with the Jasper Co. Highway department the past 12 years.  He formerly was a heavy equipment operator with Babcock Quarry for 28 years.

He attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was a member of Loyal Order of Moose 2272 and Eagles Lodge, Monon.

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Michael W. Wheeldon, Rennselaer and Brian E. Wheeldon, Remington; two brothers, Edward Wheeldon, Monon, and Ronald Wheeldon, Reynolds; and a sister. Mrs Sam (Rosella) Broomes of Sarasota, Florida.

Services wcre in the Jackson Funeral Chapel, Friday, Jan. 9, with Pastor Bill Dunfee officiating.

Interment was in Milroy Cemetery, Rensselaer.
