Richard C. "Dick" Westphal, 70, of Reynolds, died Sunday, August 21, 2005 in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. He had been ion [sic] failing health for the last few years.

He was born June 18, 1935 in Reynolds, the son of Louella and Truman Westphal.

He married Donna Thompson February 20, 1955 in Chalmers. She survives.

Other survivors include his mother Louella; sister Sonya (Carl) Shivley of Chalmers; sons Jeff (Rami) Westphal of Remington and Rick (Gwen) Westphal of Battle Ground; daughters Vicki (Gary) Bone of Danville, Pam McCormick of Lafayette and Kim (Steve) Walters of Fowler and 15 grandchildren.

His father preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the Hartzler-Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston from 10 a.m. until the time of service there at noon.

Interment will follow at Mt. Gilboa Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Mt. Gilboa Church.
