Edith E. Hoilman Wesner

Edith E. Hoilman Wesner, 85, R.l, Chalmers, died Friday, Feb. 12, at  5:45 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Healthcare Center, Delphi, where she had been a patient one day.

She was born April 11, 1907, to James and Alice Daggy Hoilman, in Prairie Township. She was married Nov. 12, 1930, to Harold Wesner, in Monticello, and he survives.

She graduated from Brookston High School in 1925.

She was a member of Brookston Federated Church, member and past president of Chi Chapter, Psi Iota Xi sorority, member with 50-year pin of the Crystal Chapter, Order of Eastern Star at Monticello, and past worthy matron of the Prairie Lodge, the Prairie Home Demonstration Club and the Brookston Mothers Club.

Surviving with her husband are a son, James, R.1, Chalmers; three grandsons, and seven great grand children.

The funeral was Monday at 11 a.m.. in Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Rev. Lelan McReynolds officiating.

Burial was in Brookston IOOF Cemetery.
