David A. Werner
 

David A. Werner, 53, R.1, Reynolds, died unexpectedly Monday, Monday, in White Co. Memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 26, 1939, to Arthur and Lola Kellenberger Werner, in Lafayette. His mother lives in Reynolds. He was married Oct. 14, 1961, to Frances L. Hovis, in Indianapolis, and she survives.

He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds, and Reynolds Volunteer Fire Department.

He was a United States Air Force veteran.

He lived most of his life in Reynolds, and owned and operated Dave's Plumbing and Heating Service, there. He also had been a truck driver.

Surviving with his wife are two sons; David A. Jr. of Marion and Jeffrey M. of Chalmers; a daughter, Beth A. Werner, a student at Purdue; three grandchildren; a brother, Bill of Orlando, Florida; two sisters; Adele Godlove, Phoenix, Arizona and Lorita Farrell, Chalmers. A sister is deceased.

The funeral was today at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Lutheran Church, Reynolds, with Rev. Stephen Koenig officiating. Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Monticello, was in charge of the service.

Military rites were conducted at St. James Lutheran Cemetery.
