Maiy Lou Deck Weiderhaft, 51, of Brownsburg, a former county resident, died Wednesday, May 26, in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. She had been ill six months and hospitalized since May 7th.

She was born Aug. 17, 1947, toRoland and Harriet Fairchild Deck, in Lafayette. She was married Aug. 7, 1966, to Norman Weiderhaft in Chalmers.

She was a 1966 graduate of Frontier High School.

She was employed as a day care provider in her home and later worked with Community Child Care in Plainfield

She was a member of the Lafayette Corvette Club.

She is survived by her husband:; a daughter. Amy of Lafayette; a son. Justin at home: her mother. Harriet Deck of Lafayette: and two sisters, Sylvia Sue Holmes of Flora and Cheryl Ann Deck of Indianapolis.

Her father is deceased.

Funeral services were Saturday at Hartzlcr Funeral Home, Brookston. with the Rev. Lelan McReynolds officiating.

Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
