Eva Karla Wayne
Eva Karla Wayne, 76, of Monon died Monday, February 13, 2006 in White County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Mannheim, Germany on September 30, 1929, the daughter of Peter and Kathrina Korn. Her marriage was to Charles "Bud" Wayne on October 25, 1952 in Mannheim, Germany. He died June 3, 1989.
She had lived in Monon since 1957 and was a homemaket. She worked in the North White Food Service for 37 years until her retirement.
She was a member of the Monon Eagles Auxiliary and was a member of the Monon Community Church.
Surviving are two sons, Merle "Sonny" (Vicki) Wayne of Monon and Robert (Barbara) Wayne of Monon; one sister, Anita Stefanczyk of Camden, Australia; several grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Kathrine "Kathy" Priest; sixt brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. at Kellogg Funeral Home in Monon with Pastor Don Newman officiating. Burial will be held at a later date.
