Graveside services for Valvia [sic] (Sandy) Ward, 91, of Monticello, formerly of Monon, will be held on Friday, March 28, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Monon Cemetery with Rev. Steve Birch officiating.

She was born October 21, 1911 in Swea City, Iowa the daughter of William and Lottie Jensen.

She died February 21, 2003 in Monticello Healthcare Center.

She married Dan J. Ward on March 8, 1947 at Columbus, Kansas. He died December 18, 1969.
