Lena Honegger Ward, 95, of Francesville died Friday, January 12, 2001 at Parkview Haven Retirement Home in Francesville.

She was born October 24, 1905 in Livingston County, Illinois the daughter of Julius and Marie Barth Honegger.

She married R E Ward on January 28, 1928 in Chilicothe, Illinois. He died August 5, 1977.

A homemaker, she had lived in Francesville most of her lifetime.

She was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church for 60 years.

Surviving are three daughters: Barbara Wuethrich, Francesville; Nola (Richard) Wuethrich, Monticello and Mary Ann (Joe) Sanders, Maumelie Arkansas; and three sons: Dale E. (Ann) Ward, Francesville; David A. Ward, Monticello and Roger E. (Sandi) Ward, Francesville; two sisters, Esther DeVault, Monticello and Leona Friday, Monon.

She had 25 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

Five sisters, four brothers and a great grandson are deceased.

Funeral services were at the Apostolic Christian Church on Tuesday. January 16, 2001 with Ministers of The Church officiating. Querry-Ulbricht Funeral Home was in charge.

Burial was in Roseland Cemetery, Francesville.
