Ruby R. Atwood Wall, 85, a former Battle Ground resident, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Regency Place, Lafayette.

She was born Feb. 10, 1914, to D.J. and L.E. Massie Atwood, in Casey County, Ky. She was married Sept. 14, 1938, to Eventus Wall, in Stanford, Ky. He died Jan. 14, 1981.

She had lived in the Ash Grove coninumity from 1940 until entering Regency in 1997.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by daughters, Mrs Donny Anita Kay Mathers of Crocker, Mo.; Mrs Thomas Patricia McGinnis and Jennie Larsen, both of West Lafayette, Mrs William Gay Sulfridge of Brookston, Beulah McClung of Jacksonville, Fla. and Donna Balser of Frankfort; sons, Anthony Wayne Wall and Walter Keith Wall, both of Battle Ground, Eventus Ray Wall, Monticello and James Dee Wall, Brookston; brother, Doyle Atwood of Liberty, Ky and sister Sally Cochran, Lebanon, Ky.; 49 grandchildren; 82 great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by sons, Robert Eugene Wall and David Neal Wall; daughter, Susie Richardson; four brothers and six sisters.

Funeral service was Saturday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. Jan Dimick officiating

Burial will be at the Battle Ground Cemetery.
