Mark Charles VonArb, 42, of Lafayette, died early Sunday morning in a motorcycle accident in Tippecanoe County.

He was born May 14, 1957, to Robert C. and Ruby Ann Hirter VonArb, in St. Louis.

He was a 1976 graduate of Harrison High School and attended Ivy Tech State College.

He worked at Fairfield Manufacturing Co. in Lafayette, as a machine operator.

He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Lafayette.

He is survived by his mother, Ruby Hirter Lord and stepfather, Howard Lord of Burnettsville; a sister, Julia Ann Von Arb, Brookston; a stepsister, Francis Owens, of Peru; a stepbrother, Steven Lord, Burnettsville and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert VonArb.

Funeral service will be Thursday at 10:30, at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. Alvin Rockey officiating Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, West Lafayette.
