Leobardo Martinez Vargas Vazquez, 27, of Monon was killed in a one-vehicle accident south of Monon on Sunday, July 15, 2001.

He was born in Arroyo Guadalupe La Palma Veracruz, Mexico on January 18, 1974. He was the son of Artemio Vargas Vazquez and Ines Martinez Pacheco Vazquez who survive. They live in Mexico.

He had lived in Monon for 3 years and had worked at HPA Monon Corp. for 1 1/2 years and Beliles Construction for 1 1/2 years.

He had served as a soldier in the Mexican Army.

Surviving besides his parents are four brothers and four sisters all of whom reside in Mexico.

There was a direct cremation and no funeral services were held. Kellogg Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
