Ruth A. Cole Trent, 70 of Brookston died Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Home Hospital in Lafayette.
She was born on September 7, 1933 in Cannon, Ky. to Delbert and Ollie Mae Tuttle Cole.
She married Toleman Trent on October 5, 1950 in Girdler, Ky. He died on July 19, 1976.
She was a homemaker and attended school in Cannon, Ky.
She enjoyed fishing, hunting and raising livestock.
Survivors include daughters Joetta Howard and Livia Trent and a son Michael Trent, all of Brookston; sisters Mildred Clark of Washington, Mich., Faye Frost of Kernesville, N.C. Thalma Collins of Girdler, Ky., and Vivian Creighton of Heidrick, Ky.; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Two sons and a grandson are deceased.
Funeral services were Monday at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi with Rev. Ed Selvidge officiating. Burial was at Bethesda Cemetery in Brownsburg.
