Joseph W. Tillison, 59, of Lafayette, died Saturday, November 1, 2003 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. He had been ill for several years.
He was born in Rensselaer on December 4, 1943 to Paul Martin and Alice Walters Tillison Bulington.
He was a 1962 graduate of Montmorenci High School
He was a truck driver, retiring after 18 years from United Van Lines in Fenton, MO.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle (Reginald) Bailey of Detroit, Mich.; sons Scott (Melanie) Tillison of Kalamazoo, Mich., James Tillison of Gobles, Mich., and Joseph (Laurie) Tillison, Jr. of Kalamazoo, Mich.; brothers Clyde Bulington and William Bulington, both of Monon, Joseph (Colleen) Bulington, of Sheldon, Ill., Dave (Anita) Bulington of Iowa, Donald Bulington of Mo., Ronald Bulington of Fla., sisters Pauline Patterson and twin sister Joanie Beliles, both of Lafayette, Karen Bulington of Kalamazoo, Mich., Peggy Brodie of Delton, Mich., Rita Tate of Vicksburg, Mich., Susan (Dennis) Storteboom of Kalamazoo, Mich., Penny Price of Kalamazoo, Mich., Janet Hagely, of Monticello; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Six brothers are deceased
Funeral services were Tuesday at Kellogg Funeral Home with Rev. Mathew Pickutt officiating.
Burial was in Osborne Cemetery near Rensselaer.
