Mary Elizabeth Dwane Thomas, 70, R.2, Brookston, died Friday, May 14, at her home.

She was born Sept. 6, 1922, to Michael and Anna Moosemiller Dwane, in Chalmers. She was married Feb. 13, 1944, to Francis "Chub" Thomas, in Reynolds, and he survives.

She graduated from Chalmers High School in 1940. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic
Church, Reynolds and of the Rosary Society of that church.

Surviving with her husband are two sons: Stephen, R.1, Brookston and David, R.2, Brookston; a sister, Mrs Robert (Helen) Wortman, Chalmers and two grandchildren.

The funeral was Sunday in Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with Father Richard Miller and Rev. Christi Schmidt officiating.

Burial was in IOOF Cemetery, Brookston.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Badger Grove Community Baptist Church.
