Richard A. Tebo

Richard A. Tebo, 84, of Monon died Wednesday, December 17, 2003, in Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare.

He was born at Morocco, Ind., on July 6, 1919 the son of Thomas and Florence Breese Tebo.

He married Eileen C. Courtright on October 4, 1947 in Rensselaer. She survives.

He was a graduate of Morocco High School.

He worked at Inland Steel in Gary, Ind., for 25 years and worked at Coca-Cola Bottle Co. in Rensselaer for several years and worked on the family farm.

He served in the U.S. Army in World War II in the Philippines.

He had lived in Hammond and moved to Monon in 1984.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Monon.

Survivors are a daughter, Candy (Mark) Knauss of Schererville, Ind., and two brothers; Carl (Eileen) Tebo of Kentland and Roger (Erma) Tebo of Cissna Park, Ill.; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services Monday, December 22, 2003 at Kellogg Funeral Home with Pastor Mathew Pucket officiating.

Burial will be in Buswell Cemetery, Kentland, Ind.
