Glenn E. Tebo

Glenn E. Tebo, 78, of Monon died Tuesday, October 14, 2003, at White County Memorial Hospital.

He was born at Morocco on July 7, 1925 to Thomas and Florence Brees Tebo. He married Catherine E. Remley at Watseka, Illinois on October 13, 1951. She survives.

He graduated from Morocco High School in Morocco.

He worked for 25 years for Inland Steel in East Chicago. He was a mechanic and retired as plant protection.

He had lived in the Monon area since 1983, coming from Highland.

He was a former member of the Highland Model A Club and Masonic Lodge.

He was a former member of the Wolcott Masonic Lodge and Monon Lions Club.

He was a member of the Monon United Methodist Church, Independent Order of Odd Fellows Lodge No. 107, Libanus Lodge 154 F&AM, both of Monticello and the Scottish Rite of Indianpolis.

He was a World War II Army veteran.

He was a past worshipful master of both the Highland and Wolcott Masonic Lodges.

Other survivors include sons Hal (Charlotte) Tebo of Schererville and Larry (Lorna) Tebo of Delaware; brothers, Dick (Eileen) Tebo of Monticello, Carl (Eileen) Tebo of Watseka, Ill., and Roger (Erma) Tebo of Cissna Park, Ill., and two grandchildren.

Two infant brothers are deceased.

Funeral services were Saturday at Monon United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Pickut officiating.

Burial was in Body Cemetery, Watseka, Ill. Miller-Roscka Funeral Home was in charge.

Memorials may be given to the Monon United Methodist Church Lift Fund.
