Ruth M. Street, 79, 408 W. County Road 225 N., Monticello, died unexpectedly early Sunday, Sept. 2, in her home.

Mrs Street worked in the linen department at White Co. Memorial Hospital for 15 years before retiring in 1986.

She was born Sept. 10, 1910, in Lambert, Mississippi. and lived in White County in the Buffalo and Monticello areas most of her life.

She was married Oct. 7,1932, to Tell M. Street, who died Oct. 21, 1986.

Mrs Street was a member of Monticello Christian Church and White Co. Saddle Club.

Surviving are a daughter, Betty Statler, Monticello and two sons, Donald W. Street, Monticello and Dean A. Street, R.1, Brookston. Also six grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren survive.

The service was at Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, Monticello. Interment was in Riverview Cemetery.
