Joan G. Storbakken, 68, Monon, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, at her residence.

She was born Aug 29, 1931, to James and Josephine Donahue Lahr, in Indianapolis. She was married in March of 1999, to David Storbakken in Monticello, and he survives.

She had lived in the White County area for about 15 years, coming here from Wisconsin.

She was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Indianapolis. She was a homemaker and a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the AMVETS Auxiliary, both of Monticello.

Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Kathy Golden of Monterey; three sons, Frank Lovrovich. Indianapolis: Thomas Oney, Wisconsin and Rickey Oney. Kentucky; a sister, Nancy Means, Monticello: three brothers. Lawrence Lahrof Spencer and Michael and Joseph Lahr; and six grandchildren.

A daughter. Debra Oney and two brothers are deceased.

Funeral services were Sunday at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard E. Miller officiating.

Burial was in Riverview IOOF Cemetery.
