Alma Sarah Hare Moss Stevens, 77, Monticello, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 1:10 a.m. in the Monticello Assisted Living and Healthcare.
She was born June 30, 1924, to Walter Watson and Laverne Adeline Benjamin Hare in White County.
She lived in White County all her life.
She was a member of the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren.
She was employed for several years at Bryan Manufacturing Co.
She was a Cub Scout den mother and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are a son, Robert E. Moss of Santa Clara, Calif.; daughter, Anna Marie Moss Hughes of Dandridge, Tenn.; sister Mary Helen LaJune Hare McClellan, Monticello; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A son, Samuel Joe Moss and a brother, Howard DeWayne Hare are deceased.
Services were Friday, at 8 p.m. in the Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home, Monticello.
Graveside service was held at noon Saturday in the Riverview I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Pike Creek Church of the Brethren or a charity of the donor's choice.
