Virginia Lou Stepp, 72, of Wheatfield, IN died Wednesday, January 17, 2001 at her residence.

She was born September 23, 1928 in Francesville, the daughter of Howard L. and Martha Marie Waymore Page.

She married Lindberg Stepp on January 25, 1947 in Rensselaer, IN. He survives.

She attended Francesville schools and was a member of the TeaBerry Hill Estate Church. She had worked at Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, in the laundry and housekeeping departments for 15 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda (Francis) martin, Rensselaer; a son, Bill (Donna) Stepp, Wheatfield and four brothers, Eugene (Iris) Page, Francesville; Raymond (Joan) Page, Monon, Morris (Betty) Cain, LaPorte and Ralph (Donna) Cain, Rolling Prairie. Four grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, 1 brother and one granddaughter.

Funeral services was Saturday, January 20, 2001 at Jackson Funeral Service with Elmer Conley officiating. Burial was in DeMotte Cemetery, DeMotte.
