Cecil F. Stangle, 88, Kewanna, died in Pulaski Health Care Cen ter, Winamac, Sunday, January 10th.
He was born March 20, 1910, the Alben and Nellie Kistler Stangle, in White County. He was married June 28, 1931, to Dorothy Watson, in Cass County, and she survives.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Helm Street Church of God, Logansport. He attended the Church of the Nazarene, Winamac.
He graduated in 1928, from Royal Center High School.
Survivors are 2 sons, Edwin Stangle, Monticello; David Stangle, Kewanna: a daughter, Joan Piercy, Apache Junction, AZ.; a sister Calesey Shaw, Monticello;2 brothers, Raymond Stangle and Leroy Stangle, both of Monticello. Also 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 14, at Harrison Metzger Funeral Home, Royal Center with Rev. Gary Jordan officiating. Burial was in Bell Center Cemetery, Idaville.
