Deloris Snowberger

Deloris J. Snowberger, 75, of Chalmers died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette.

She was born at Reynolds on June 11, 1929, to Albert C. and Esther L. (Bardoner) Hintzman.

She married Kenneth Snowberger at Reynolds on September 21, 1952. He died April 18,2000.

She had lived in White County her entire life.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds. She had been a Sunday school teacher and was also involved in the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She sang in the choir at the church. She participated in the Lutheran Ladies Devotional Group where they read at Monticeilo Assisted Living and Healthcare Center.

She had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Chalmers and the VFW Women's Auxiliary in Reynolds.

She participated in the Senior Citizens activities in Monticello.

She enjoyed quilting, embroidery and had been a 4—H Leader for embroidery for a number of years.

Survivors include daughters, Doris Snowberger, Bernadine "Bernie" Snowberger and Mary Anne Snowberger all of Chalmers; son Phil (June) Snowberger of Chalmers; brother Harold (Neoma) Hintzman of Monticello; sisters Norma Miller of Chalmers and Velma (Steve) Freed of Plymouth; three grandchildren mmd three great-grandchildren.

Three brothers, two sisters and one grandson are deceased.

Funeral services were Saturday at St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds with Pastor Charles Blakely officiating.

Burial was in St. James Lutheran Cemetery in Reynolds.
