Inez J. Sims, 87, of Swan Lake Park in North Ft. Meyers, Fla., formerly of Monticello died Wednesday, January 19, 2OO5 at the Hospice House in Cape Coral, Fla.

She was born July 22, 1917, in Boswell to Fred and Magaret (Lizzy) Meyer II.

She attended the Lutheran and public schools in Reynolds.

Her marriage was to Grover Sims lI on August 12, 1968, in Denver, Colorado. He survives.

She was a homemaker and for many years worked as a nurse for Dr. Wayne Houser, M.D. of Monon.

She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Reynolds.

She enjoyed her family, reading, gardening and bird watching.

Other survivors include a daughter, Donna (Bill) Hoover of Lafayette; and two stepsons, Jay (Carla) Sims and Jan Sims of Kokomo. [sic] Two [sic] Granddaughters [sic], two great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters, Lorene Bertram, Alma Vieregge, Helen Kessler and Una Lashbrook; one brother, Paul Meyer; and a stepdaughter Toni Sims.

A private service will be held at a later date.
