Edward "Al" Sigo, Jr., 65, died Tuesday, Aug. 5, at 1:45 p.m. at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. He had been hospitalized since July 9.
He was born Sept. 28, 1931, to Victor and Gabriella Dluzak Sigo, in Remington. He was married June 30, 1956, to Mary Ann Richardson, and was divorced in 1980.
He was a 1949 graduate of Remington High School.
He served in the Air Force from Jan. 1951 through Jan. 1955, in the 1094th USAF SPREPTRON HEDCOM, Manano Base, New Mexico.
He was employed as an operator at REA Magnet Wire Co., Lafayette and retired in 1992, after 33 years of service.
He is survived by three sons, Edward A. Jr., Chalmers; Rodger L, Brookston and Robert B., West Lafayette; a daughter, Catherine M., West Lafayette; a brother, Ralph (Mose), Wolcott; a sister, Patricia Caskie, Madison.Alabama; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston.
Burial was in the Pretty Prairie Cemetery, Battle Ground.
