Opal L. Shull, 102, of Rochester, formerly of Kewanna, died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Life Care Center in Rochester.
She was born in Wolcott on November 30, 1903, to James and Eva (Williams) Spencer.
She married Paul E. Shull at St. Joe, Michigan, on September 15, 1928. He died May 26, 1976.
She graduated from Monon High School in 1922.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Kewanna United Methodist Church and Eastern Star, Rochester, where she was a 50 year member.
Survivors include daughters, Sharlene (Allison) Haimbaugh, Rochester, and Dana (John) Nichols, East Lyme, Conn.; sons, Charles (Cathy) Shull, Marietta, Ga., and William (Karen) Shull, Sugar Grove, Ill.; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Four brothers, six sisters and one grandchild are deceased.
Funeral services were at Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Kewanna Chapel with Pastor Mike Tatman officiating. Burial was at Riverview IOOF Cemetery, Monticello.
