E. McFall Shiveley, 87, a former Brookston resident, died Saturday, Sept.
19, at George Davis Manor in West Lafayette.
She was born Feb. 24, 1911, to John and Maude Lemman McFall, in Remington. She was married Jan. 7, 1933, to Walter Shiveley, in Wolcott. He preceded her in death on Dec. 16, 1992.
She had worked in retail sales at Harry's Style Shop and Gluck's in Lafayette.
She was an honorary retired member of Psi Iota Xi sorority, Chi Chapter.
She was a member of Brookston Quilters Club and Prairie Homemakers Extension Club.
She was a member of Brookston Federated Church.
She is survived by a son, Rod Shiveley of Seattle; a daughter, Ramona Wessel, Brookston; a sister, Doris Datzman of Tyler, Texas; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, two brothers and five sisters.
Funeral services were Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Brookston, with the Rev. Lelan McReynolds officiating.
Burial was at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Brookston.
