Orlo L. Scott, 68, of Monticello, died Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at his residence.

He was born at Buffalo on December 20, 1935, to Raymond G. and Helen M. (McC1oud) Scott. He married Janet M. Marlin at Sitka Baptist Church on July 17, 1955. She survives.

He had lived in the Monticello area all his life.

He graduated from Buffalo High School.

After graduating he moved to his current residence in Carroll County.

He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Other survivors include sons, David O. (Linda) Scott of Monticello, Jeffrey A. (Charlotte) Scott and Ronald E. (Debbie) Scott both of Winamac, brothers, Robert Scott and Richard Leis both of Buffalo; sisters, Charlotte (Victor) Rater of Monon and Linda Sue (Eddie) Dilts of Dalevile, 14 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Brother Donald Scott and son Terry Lee Scott are deceased.

Graveside services were Friday, April 2, 2004 at Hughes Cemetery with Pastor Mark Pilger officiating.
